The Portland International Airport

Portland, Oregon

About this project

Project overview

The Portland International Airport (PDX) project highlights Timber Pro Coatings’ role in supplying over 8,000 gallons of eco-friendly wood stain for the airport’s mass timber expansion. This large-scale application demonstrated the durability of Timber Pro’s coatings under extreme Pacific Northwest weather conditions, from 120°F heat to freezing rain, while preserving the natural wood grain. The project has become a flagship example of how sustainable, high-performance coatings can enable architectural excellence in modern mass timber construction.
